“Stubble burning is the intentional burning of roots and stems after the harvest. Farmers chose to burn the soil since they cannot plow due to economic difficulties.”
Many farmers burn the planted soil to get rid of unwanted roots after reaping. This ritual has many negative effects, including farming the soil that will bear the next harvest. It is argued that stubble burning is done by the uneducated, however, it is the most efficient and most affordable solution for farmers who are in tough conditions in terms of money and labor supply. We say stop stubble burning but who will support the farmers for less harmful alternatives?
