Solitude in imperative seclusion. Reminder of one’s self and needs. On the one hand detachment, losing touch and connection. On the other hand reuniting; many being one, finding support.
Ege Acar was born in 1993 in Istanbul. He received his undergraduate degree in architecture from Istanbul Bilgi University in 2016. Within that duration, he has developed projects for architecture and design competitions and worked in the field of architectural photography. While creating his own fictional scenarios through his drawings and photographs, he has also experienced the very precise reality of “applied” architecture working as an architect at Emre Arolat Architecture for 6 months. Seeking to bring reality and unreality as close as possible, he has finished his graduate studies at London’s Architectural Association - Design Research Lab and works as an architectural photographer for Melike Altınışık Architects.
