Ece Agirtmis was born on January 29, 1995, in Izmir. She grew up painting and making sculptures with her grandma who also had an interest in the arts. She graduated from the Painting department of Işılay Saygın Fine Arts High School in 2013. Later, she continued her fine arts education in Graphic Design at Anadolu University. Getting the opportunity to work with different mediums, her interest in the art of illustration has grown even further. The colors and the way they are used have always been a source of inspiration for her. She also experimented with gouache for a good while. She has always made sure to show her juvenile spirit in her illustrations. Later in her career, she wanted to materialize her illustrations by using wood and had opportunities to improve herself in balsa, acrylics, and other various mediums. She experimented with making toys and wanted to add new perspectives to her work by layering her illustrations. In line with these experiences and knowledge that she has gathered, she took place in many group exhibitions and projects. She continues her work by illustrating, designing toys, and working in various other areas.
