Before we became housemates, we had no idea that we both had a long-lasting passion for illustration. Upon this realization, night-long conversations about the art of illustration became inevitable. When we decided to put more illustrations on the walls of our home but had difficulty in obtaining art from our favorite artists we asked ourselves: “How can we access these illustrations?” The second we asked this question a portal opened to the universe of fam°.

What began as an attempt to open a digital gallery soon evolved into an agency that supports artists via various mediums. fam° is now an illustration and animation agency that represents artists from Turkey. fam°s online gallery, famstore°, continues to bring out the diversity of the local illustration scene. Besides making illustrations of local artists available, fam° encourages creative encounters by providing digital and physical areas of interaction such as exhibitions and workshops.
